PASSOVER MEAL

This year, instead of CAFOD soup and liturgy, we are holding a PASSOVER MEAL in the Social Centre on Monday 25th April at 7.30pm..

The Passover Meal recalls Jesus’ last supper with His disciples, as depicted on our altar front, and puts us in the framework of Holy Week. There are elements very similar to our Eucharist, as befits our Jewish origins, and the meal reminds us of the connection. Our Passover Meal will be conducted by a member of the Sunderland Jewish Community, and will be authentic. It is a proper meal. Involving lamb and wine (or juice if preferred).

Numbers have to be limited because of catering, and only very few tickets remain. These must be bought by Sunday 18th March. Tickets are

£5 each for adults and £3 each for 14-18year olds.
