JUSTICE AND PEACE— LIVESIMPLY SO OTHERS CAN SIMPLY LIVE
Livesimply is a campaign which has grown out of Make Poverty History.
The key livesimply message is
“God calls us to look hard at out lifestyles and to chose to live simply, sustainably and in solidarity with the poor. In this way we can create a world in which human dignity is respected and everyone can reach their full potential. This would be true progress worth more than economic growth alone.”
In September we will be hosting a Deanery half day of Reflection on Livesimply, where we will all be asked to commit ourselves to this challenge. Between now and then each week we will give letters from the livesimply alphabet which is to stimulate discussion and creative thinking. A— Appreciate our environment. B—Bottle Banks or kerbside collection to recycle glass.
