THE NORTHERN CATHOLIC CALENDAR

The Northern Catholic Calendar is on sale in the repository price £2.00.  there is a limited number so they are being sold on a first come first served basis.

 

JOURNEY IN FAITH

Our next Journey in faith starts at 7pm on Thursday, 17th January in St. Cuthbert’s Chapel.  All are welcome.

 

INDIAN ORTHODOX COMMUNITY

On 5th January our Orthodox Indian Community are being established as a parish.  Their Diocesan Metropolitan H.G. Dr Thomas Mar Makarios, Bishop Kevin, The Mayor and Chris Mullin MP are invited.  Everyone from the parish is also invited to both the service and the meal afterwards in the Social Centre.  All are welcome.  For more information please see the notice at the back of church.

 

ST. PATRICK’S MISSIONARY SOCIETY

St. Patrick’s would like to say a big thank you to all who have contributed their used stamps over the last year.  They are finding it so much harder to collect stamps these days with so much post being franked.  They are only able to sell the stamps by the kilogram, so an awful lot are needed to make up this weight.  So again please save all your stamps and hand them in at the back of church, any time.  The money they raise goes to buying transport for medical personnel and catechists, who are then able to move around from village to village.

Mass in Polish will be celebrated at 4 pm on the 4th Sunday of every month in St. Benet’s Church Sunderland.  Confessions before at 3.30 pm.  Refreshments after Mass in the Parish Hall.
