SICK AND RETIRED PRIESTS
There is a Retiring Collection next weekend for Sick and Retired Priests. The Collection remains open until 2nd April.
MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR BABIES
Next weekend we are hosting the Royal Hospital’s Annual Memorial Service for Babies. If you have been affected by the loss of a baby or know someone who has come along to the service. All are welcome. There are refreshments afterwards in the Social Centre.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNIONS
Our First Communion programme continues on Wednesday 26th March at 6.30p.m. in the Social Centre for the children. Please pray for the children and their families.
EL SHADDAI
El Shaddai in Sunderland are celebrating their third anniversary on Saturday 29th March from 2pm. Other El Shaddai groups from around the country will be joining them and everyone is welcome to join the celebration afterwards in the Social Centre.
BEREAVEMENT GROUP
The Bereavement Group are holding a coffee evening on Monday 31st March at 7.00pm in St. Joseph’s social centre. The evening will begin with a short liturgy led by Jimmy Youll. If you are feeling bereaved in any way you will be most welcome. Please ring Ian Thompson 5677784 or Kathleen Dale 5226505 if you require transport.
JOURNEY IN FAITH
Our next Journey in Faith starts on Tuesday 22nd April and continues for the following three Tuesdays. The course is for all preparing for a baptism or for a wedding. All are welcome.
AFRICAN MASS
There will be an African Mass in St. Joseph’s Church Gateshead this weekend on Sunday 30th March at 2:00p.m. This is an opportunity for Africans in our community to celebrate Mass together and then to socialise in the Centre afterwards. Everyone is welcome. The Metro stops just outside of St. Joseph’s church at the Gateshead Interchange.
JUSTICE AND PEACE
The next meeting will take place in the Parish Centre after 9.30a.m. Mass on the last Sunday of the month—30th March.
DEANERY FORUM
The next meeting of the Deanery Forum is on Tuesday 1st April at 7.30 p.m. These meetings are important in looking to the future of the Church within Sunderland. It is to be held in the Quiet Room of the Social Centre. All are welcome.
MILL HILL MISSIONS
During the month of April the Collectors will be calling to empty the red Mission Boxes. Thank you to all our box holders and collectors.
